What is your role at Anglo Printers and what does it involve?
I work as part of the Accounts team; I am responsible for issuing customer invoices.
I am also the Company IMS Representative, which involves maintaining our ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015 Quality and Environmental standards, and preparing and being part of internal and external audits.
How have you found life since you started working for Anglo Printers?
Having taken a few years career break to raise my four kids, I came back to work last year, life is busy, but enjoying being back in the workforce. Anglo Printers is a great company to work for, and colleagues are all nice.
Who did you work for before?
Before my career break, I worked for a company in Dublin, called Iron Mountain Records Management for 10 years.
What is the first thing you would buy if you won the lottery?
I would be on the first plane out of Dublin Airport, to somewhere tropical, have a cocktail and then decide, suppose I would have to bring the family along with me!
What is your hidden talent?
In a previous life I could play a bit of accordion, it's something I would love to take back up again, if I ever had the time.
Where is the best place you've travelled to and why?
Can't decide on one place, although I do love the Carribean Islands, love the beautiful white sandy beaches!
What is the one thing you can't live without?
Tell us about your family?
Married to Fran, know each other 21 years and married 18! We have 4 kids, Ben who is 16, he has just got his Junior Cert Results, and we are very proud parents! Ryan who is 12, loves playing football with Albion Rovers, Lauren who is 9 and Hannah who is 8, both love gymnastics and are also in the local athletics club. My life is very busy, hands are full, but wouldn't change any of it.
What do you like to do in your spare time?
I am a keen runner. I took up the sport after I had my last daughter Hannah in 2013. I used to wonder what all the fuss was about, so once I tried it I was bitten by the bug and have completed 4 marathons, Dublin x 2, London and Rotterdam. I am a member of the local Drogheda and District Athletics Club. I have an interest in triathlons also, they require a lot of time for training! Someday I will get there!«back
